Process

Every piece of Moca Jewellery is handmade, one at a time, by our founder in her home-based studio in London. With over 15 years of experience, we combine deep technical knowledge with a strong design sensibility rooted in sculpture, art, and storytelling.

We use the ancient craft of lost-wax casting — a method that involves hand-carving each design in wax before casting it into precious metal. Our casting is carried out locally in Hatton Garden, London’s historic jewellery quarter. This traditional process allows us to shape bold, textured, and expressive pieces that cannot be replicated by machine.

Many of our stone-set designs use the cast-in-place technique. The stones are placed directly into the wax model and remain in position throughout the casting process. As the molten metal flows in, it forms around the stones, locking them in place. This method gives each piece a raw, organic finish, ensuring that no two settings are exactly alike — it’s as much alchemy as it is artistry.

Because each item is individually cast and finished, no two are ever quite the same. You might notice subtle variations from the photographs — that’s the beauty of it. Your piece is truly one of a kind.

Our jewellery is made to order, and we put many hours into every piece. It’s slow, intentional work. We believe that quality takes time, and it shows in the final result.

When you wear a piece from Moca, you’re carrying something made with patience, precision, and purpose. Each design is a reflection of time, care, and craft, not mass production. Our jewellery is made to last, made to be felt, and made to mean something. It’s personal, sculptural, and intentionally created — not just to adorn, but to resonate.

With love,
Moca Jewellery xx
